About the event
The Black Arts Festival is a one-day event hosted by the University of Chicago Black in Academia resource group, and will be held on the University of Chicago's Logan Arts Center from 12p - 5p on Sunday, June 19th, 2022.
The Black Arts Festival aims to offer a unique opportunity to convene members of the UChicago campus (to celebrate and highlight the intellectual and artistic accomplishments of Black people on our campus, in the neighborhoods surrounding UChicago, and within the broader Chicagoland area.
Join our panel discussion on the history of Juneteenth, the intersections of Black identities, and the future of Black Americans from 1p - 2p.
